A brass brush designed for cleaning wood-fired ovens
Once the embers have been moved and the larger pieces of ash removed, fine ash and small cooking residues may remain on the oven floor. This brass pizza oven brush is designed to help clean the cooking surface before loading bread, pizzas and other dishes into your wood-fired oven.
The brass bristles help sweep away remaining debris, while the long wooden handle makes it easier to reach the back of the oven and maintain a comfortable distance from the heat. Its shape and length also provide a practical grip when cleaning larger or deeper ovens.
For best results, lightly dampen the brush before use and carefully remove any excess water. The brush should not be soaked, as introducing too much water onto a hot oven floor should be avoided.
Three lengths to suit your wood-fired oven
The brush is available in three different lengths, allowing you to choose the most suitable option for the depth, size and installation height of your oven:
• 120 cm: suitable for compact ovens and easily accessible cooking surfaces.
• 150 cm: a versatile length for regular use in a wide range of wood-fired ovens.
• 220 cm: recommended for larger or deeper ovens where additional reach is required.
These recommendations are provided as a practical guide. The most appropriate length will depend on the dimensions of your oven and the working distance you prefer to maintain while cleaning.
A replaceable brush head for a longer working life
When the brass bristles become worn, there is no need to replace the entire brush. The brush head can be removed and replaced separately, allowing you to continue using the wooden handle.
To fit a new brush head, simply unscrew the fixings located on the upper part of the original head, remove the worn brush and attach the replacement component. This replaceable design helps extend the working life of the tool. By replacing only the worn part, you reduce the amount of equipment that needs to be discarded and avoid replacing a handle that is still in good condition.
