Cherry Clafouti

Cooking with closed door  

Ingredients :

-          500 g large cherries

-          100 g sugar + 1 tablespoon after the baking

-          3 eggs

-          100 g flour

-          30 cl full-cream milk

-          Butter for baking dish

-          A pinch of salt

Method :

Wash cherries. Pit them or not , as you wish.

Whisk sugar and eggs together, then add the flour and salt.

Pour in the milk little by little, stirring constantly until smooth to obtain a paste like that of the pancakes.

Butter a baking dish, scatter with cherries and pour batter over the cherries.

Bake at 180°C for about 40 mn

Remove from oven and dust the cake with powdered sugar.

Let it cool before tasting.
